Welcome to Fort Rouge

We are a family/community oriented Child Care center in the heart of Osborne Village. Our staff offer warm, friendly, courteous and attentive care to the children and have been trained in a variety of child care areas. Our center provides a safe place for all 36 of our children. We have 4 toddlers (18mo-24mo); and 32 pre-schoolers (2yrs-6yrs). Fort Rouge Co-op Day Nursery is a non-profit organization that relies on parent fees, fundraising, and government grants.

Specialized Care

The individual needs of the children are our first priority. We offer an inclusion program for children that encourages identity and self concept. This program is all about acceptance, and the value of human diversity. We provide support so that the children and their families can participate.

We offer ‘Sign and Say’ at all times which enables toddlers and speech delayed children to express their needs.

Our hours of operation are 7:00 am-6:00 pm Monday to Friday.
